Requirements

Asterisk server

* Receptionist has been tested with Asterisk 1.2 and 1.4.

Operator's telephone

* Receptionist has been designed for use with a telephone with a headset attached. The phone should be able to do auto-answer and auto-hangup - most IP phones are capable of this. An alternative is to set the phone's extension to use RetryDial instead of Dial.

Operator's workstation

Windows, Linux and MacOS are supported. The Java Runtime software version 5 must be installed first.
